Designing and Building of a Peltier Module Experimental Apparatus
A typical peltier module experimental apparatus can be used for measurement of heat transfer rate and coefficient of performance of a peltier module. In this project, it is expected to design a new data acquisition system (DAQ) for the peltier module experimental setup. First, current data acquisition system of peltier module apparatus needs to be evaluated and data transfer between sensors and program should be identified. Designed DAQ is required to measure voltage applied to Thermoelectric cooler (TEC), current passing thru TEC and temperature using T-type thermocouple. Besides, it is also required from DAQ system to perform algebraic calculations and export the measured data in .txt file format for post-processing purpose.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- have knowledge of fundamental thermodynamics and fluid mechanics concepts
- needs to be interested in sensors, DAQ systems and programming
