Adaptive Headlight Design for Motorcyles

The conventional motorcycle headlights have fixed orientations. When a motorcycle enters a curved road, the driver leans the bike towards the ground on center of curvature side. The combination of the curvedness and the lean angle causes the fixed headlights illuminate the wrong portions of the road. An adaptive headlight system, passive or active, compensates for this deviation by using/sensing the lean angle. In this project, an adaptive headlight system for motorcycles is to be designed, analyzed, and built.
